This reverse thingy is basically mostly in european cars by standard, You are just required to have one reverse lamp and one fog lamp at the rear in EU cars and this car came here with the default settings and actually this isn't the only car with such an issue. You will see that the new chinese car will also a single rear reverse light and other would be a fog light.

I'm a car enthusiast and I just want to share some information to guide people who don't know why the reverse light of single side flashes while the other does not because according to International Safety Standards, one light act as car being in reverse gear while the other is a fog light which turns on when your front lights are turned on and while you're reversing the car in a foggy season the rear fog light turns on to let people know that your car is being reversed. Now I'm just sharing my thoughts hope you get my point :)

Bro firstly you've did a good job glass coating it. I've done all my dark colour cars coated to avoid scratches and maintain a good shine. Secondly the reverse light you mentioned is one sided because in all the imported cars you get a rear fog light. So they always have one reverse light and the other is a rear fog lamp ♥️😊

the kia cars are actually assembled in South Korea and there along with some European countries, you are allowed to have one reverse light but once they start assembly or even manufacture here, this thing might change its not a flaw. and yes these cars are required to have one rear fog lamp thats why they keep one reverse light and in the area of other light fog lamp

The other side is not reverse light because it is a fog light which can be turned on by pulling fog light button downwards it is mandatory in some countries so kia made this choice

6:50 i guess you are talking about the back fog lamp, most of the cars have atleast one fog lamp at the back like the new changan alsvin ✌️,Rear Fog lights are mandatory in the European countries, either in pair or single one on the driver's side from centerline. In the cases where there is only one fog lamp installed in the tail lights cluster, the other symmetrical side holds the reverse light.
