My Most complimented Armaf perfumes(August 2019)

CDNIM has a black sprayer if it is from France and silver if it is from UAE. I have the newest 2020 black sprayer from France and it still lasts a very long time. Has a slightly harsh lemon opening that fades away within 15mins. You can always slightly pick up a slight lemon citrus smell after that, but it just adds some zing to the smokiness.

Bro initially I was not impressed with Ventana. Neither the smell, nor the performance (if you remember, I had commented in one of your earlier videos). So much so that I gave away the bottle to my brother. We were having a conversation today and I smelled something MAGICAL. He said he was wearing the same perfume that I gave him. I couldn't believe that it was Ventana. Some perfumes indeed smell better 'in the air'.

Hahahha very true.. Honestly I also don't like Ventana, blue for men 2 and Daarej when I wear myself.. But the way others react when I wear it surprised me n then I realised that they smell awesome when it lingers in the air..I have felt that when my colleagues wore Daarej,Ventana or blue 2 and I have told them " now I know why u guys love it so much when I wear"..

I think ventana is a better choice compare to pride of armaf. I have a bottle of armaf pride.It smells good but doesn't project at all. Well you can try el cielo as it is cheap & good for daytime use.

Hello sir and good afternoon! I intend to blind buy Bucephalus XI .I had purchased several CDNIMs in the past(batches 2/2017, 3/2017, 9/2017, 12/2017) which i REALLY loved ,especially those with silver atomizer (2/2017 and 12/2017 for sure as i remember). Is the Bucephalus XI considered as smoky as Cdnim was(due to its birch note mainly) ? That is the main reason for me loving Cdnim. Do you also consider better BucephalusXI a better scent than Cdnim(for your taste) ?Thank you for your interest. John

No.. I wouldn't just say bucephalus XI is better than old batch of cdnim.. there's difference in the two.. Current batch (black atomizers) cdnim is weak in performance as per many.. considering that bucephalus is better in performance I meant.. And if u looking for smokiness, u won't that in bucephalus.. It rather has more fruitier opening than cdnim with a hint of sour pineapple...

In the video you talked about their openings(one lemony ,other fruity) ,performance and longevity. How they really compare to drydown?i think there are different..you said Bucephalus' is 'richer'. Thats where(drydown) cdnim shines(or.. shined(i dont know about recent batches) and thats the most important part in fragrances imo, the way it settles down to the skin and how it lingers to the air! That doesn't mean every note is exactly same..n since u specified u like cdnim because of smokiness,I don't think u will like bucephalus over cdnim coz I don't feel bucephalus having smokiness feel.. But bucephalus is definitely more fruitier than cdnim..n dry down of bucephalus is more richer coz of the fruitiness though they get more n more similar in the dry down coz of the musk n Woody feel..

@@yasersfitfrag7063 to be honest i dont know what exactly made me love cdnim...i think its the 'magical' drydown ...which of course it had smokiness...but its not the smokiness itself...its the combination of citrus and smoke. I strongly believe tho that 'smokiness' mainly made cdnim the fragrance we almost all appreciate. So probably, if Bucephalus' drydown is so similar to cdnim's may be magical too despite the fact its not as smoky..! I do consider 'smokiness' to be very important to Aventus type clones but it doesnt mean that smokiness produces a better scent. Its the overall feeling at drydown. Cdnim had it imo. .I also had Al Haramain's L'Aventure(Aventus clone) which i loved too(a bit less than cdnim)and wasnt considered smoky...but 'fruity...' its smokiness was very mild but the fragrance was superb in general. I had in mind to buy one piece of cdnim(batch 12/2018 as they told me) and one piece of BucXI and i changed my mind to (blind)buy 2 pieces of Bucephalus instead. I havent made the order yet. Thats why i am asking much for Buceph(especially its drydown that stays from 30' to 4-5-6-7 hours). I know that taste is personal hypothesis but i trust you cause you seem to be reliable reviewer. Sorry for the big message!

I somewhat certain u won't dislike it because it definitely is similar to aventus just like Laventure but u may not necessarily love it more than cdnim because u sound very particular about smokiness which I don't think u will find in bucephalus.. It definitely has that fruity pineapple with a hint a sourness which makes it a little niche type...

Don't compare with older batches.. But compared to current batches EDT it's much better..8+ hours lasting as per many though u might experience nose fatigue after few hours when u wear yourself

For hot climate u should ideally wear fresh citrus n aquatic type scents so that it suits when u sweat.. but generally fresh scents are not known to last that long.. May be 5 to 6 hours in Chennai weather. But u can still try Lattafa najdia, Armaf ventana, bucephalus X or XI

U can contact him for original products.. But doesn't mean original product will last longer than fake. All lastest batches of French based perfumes are reformulated due to ifra guidelines.. Even latest Dior sauvage which costs 8k is also reformulated.. Not everybody knows this fact.. And Kerala weather is humid.. Most of the perfume won't last in that weather

Good to know u liked it.. actually bucephalus sprayer throws very less perfume compared to other designers.. So even if u go with 10 to 12 sprays wouldn't be too much.. But wear it half an hour before reaching office so that it doesn't get too loud.. But if u prefer wearing after reaching office then don't go above 6 sprays at one shot n enter immediately..

That way I haven't come across in armaf.. heavy projection perfumes are not always the best in compliments.. Rasasi Shuhrah projects like beast , but not everyone loves the smell .Daarej also has good projection.. But projects in soft tone.. In armaf cdnim, Ventana, craze used to project a lot in older batches.. But current batches don't project like old batches..

Most complimented for me is Hawas... And there s no exact clone of Dior sauvage.. There will always be some difference in smell n with quality as well..Dior is 7k plus. It's not reasonable to expect cheap clones to be exactly same.. The best cheap clone in my experience is Armaf ventana..

It's not only armaf.. Every brand that used the now banned aroma chemical which was previously used for lasting n Projection are now reformulated since mid 2018 due to IFRA guidelines. Try the latest Dior sauvage.. It does not perform like the older batches.. Even that is Reformulated.. No point worrying about reformulated now.. If u like the smell, just go for it..cdnim has come with their EDP version now which performs good enough..

And honestly I never prefer buying any perfumes online like Snapdeal, flipkart, ebay etc.. multiple sellers sell there n u never know who sells authentic from those multiple sellers..I have also experienced fake products from these sites n some Instagram sellers.. That's y I prefer buying it only from trusted individual sellers.. If u do not know any specific seller then u can contact the seller I have given in my description.. I have no idea about the authenticity of purple.com but may be nykaa.com is still safer.. And shoppers Stop or lifestyle website u don't have to doubt about their authenticity..
