To be fair, I watched the first few episodes of Boruto and enjoed them. It just had nothing to grip me because it felt like more Naruto fillers and honestly, I watched more than enough of those in my life. So I wouldn't say it's impossible that I'd drop this eventually if it would run non stop like Boruto does. It is only 24 episodes for now, so I it is likely that I'll watch this season completely.

Personally, I'm a little underwhelmed by the new series, which is a shame because I was really looking forward to it. InuYasha used to be my favorite anime ever. But it feels like the show keeps setting up questions with very few answers (not that I'm against mystery and intrigue, mind you). And there doesn't seem to be much urgency when it comes to the characters' goals. Heck, they completely dismissed whom one would assume is the major antagonists and seems to just stumble across his minions. But we're still in the early episodes, so I won't completely write it off and I'll continue watching.

@@SaiyanGamer95 TBH, it kinda was like this with Inuyasha as well. I mean, there were some powerful youkai (like the Thunder Brothers) that were dealt with early on, then a lot of unimportant characters before the next important thing happened.

And others serve as world building, like introducing Inuyasha losing his demon powers during the new moon or Inuyasha coming to care about others apart from himself.

I didn't think I would love all the three girls, but damnnn I was wrong. Setsuna seems cool and serious like Sesshoumaru while Moroha is a mix between Kagome's sweetness and Inuyasha's fiery temper, Towa is a nice middle spot between the two and has a touch of Kagome's naive side about the feudal era.
