this is the best film camera you will come across it has one of the most magnificent viewfinders of all. It was created in 1980 by YASHICA company and it's still the best according to me. The camera only requires batteries for the flash but if you do not intend to use the flash you can use without them. The DX coding means it automatically sets the ASA or ISO
