the Alchemist played this track for us at the Seattle show on his and Earl Sweatshirt’s Voir Dire tour the other night. He didn’t say it was Yasiin, just “unreleased alchemist,” so when I first heard Yasiin’s voice, it felt like we were sharing a little secret. I left that show feeling like I was given a hug for the first time in years. Grateful for a beautiful moment, for music, and for all the love artists (and their mothers) put into sharing their work with us
