रफी साहब का बचपनसे फँन हु ,जब हम मनमाडमे छत्रे हायस्कूल मे सन १९७२मे पढते थे हमारे हिंदी के टिचर नेरकरजी पढानेके पहले मुझे राजासाब का " किसी मेहरबाकी नजर ढुंढते है इस महशुर गीतको सुननेके बाद पढाई शुरु करते थे,नोकरीके लिए काफी साल मुंबईमे रहते थे,जिस दिन रफी साहबकी मौत की खबर मिली मै बांद्रा स्थित रफी व्हिला उनके घर अंतिम दर्शन लेने घर पहुचे थे,सांताक्रूझके कब्रस्तानमे रफी साहबके अंतिम यात्रामे भी हम मौजुद थे ,भीड बहुत थी,उनके अंतिम दर्शन के लिए भीडने बादलसे जोरोमे बरसता पानी और कब्रस्तानमे किचडकी परवाह की नही,ट्रकमे फुलोसे लिपटे रफीसाहब, " कर चले हम फिदा जानोतन साथीयो अब तुम्हारे हवाले वतन साथीयो " यह हकीकत फिल्म का गाणेकी रिकार्ड चल रही थी,उन्हे चाहनेवालोकी आँखोमे आँसू नजर आ रहे थे,हम भी बहुत रोये उनके गीतोके याद करते करते......महरुम गायक रफीसाहब शरीरसे गये,लेकीन उनकी यादोको जिंदा रखनेके लिए हजारो अजरामर गीतोका खजाना हमे जीवनभर मरते दमतक गुणगुणाके लिए छोड गये,आवाजकी दुनियेका बेताब बादशाह रफीसाहब जैसा नेक बंदा इस दुनियामे कभी भी होनेवाला नही.
