This interview had me in tears. Isn't she more spiritual than so many saints and has such a deep level of Imaan than so many explicitly religious people.
@salaamletstalk2 жыл бұрын
Exactly my view. Her thought process and decisions would be labelled by the 'so called religious' as controversial and incorrect yet they are rooted in the core of faith in Allah and belief in His mercy.

She’s a free spirit for sure, takes guts to take on and dismiss social norms. She’s pragmatic though, not a dreamer, it still takes a lot of work and effort to make any relationship work.

This to me felt like it was a podcast. I loved every word of it. Firstly I’ve never said this but I just want to appreciate how beautifully Rabia handles the interviews - a gift from God is what I’ll call it! When it comes to Yasra, the depth of her thoughts are reflected in her speech and for unmarried women especially those that are young and inexperienced because they don’t have anyone to tell them these things, it was an eye opener to what a marriage is, how a marriage should be and what are the qualities of a partner! Amazing, you guys should honestly think about doing topics like these in a podcast format! Much love ❤️
@nimranaeem16272 жыл бұрын
Yasra G raised a very good point that 'the wealth that motivates us for marriage is not in our hands and we can lose it if it is not meant for us'.
@zebz22842 жыл бұрын
Yasra is redefining the norms and narratives established either by religion or by culture/society and the hotchpotch of both and simultaneously trying to fix them and put them in their right place. She's not a drifter but a torch bearer of a confused society, IMO. Excellent interview!

Finally I complete watching whole interview. Due to my busy routine I couldn't go in one go... I completed this in 3 days... Yasra you are such a pure soul... Such attraction in your words and perspectives. Thank you for sharing such amazing thoughts... Topics which were discussed in this whole conversation were way too important, Human rights or motivation toward marriage and society...our pathetic society... Thank you for helping me to think more... And Rabia you are such a lovely soul how beautifully you have carried out whole interview I loved it.. Such sensitive topics were carried in such meaningful ways...uff I loved the whole interview... Pata ni kisi or ka hota to ma adha daikh ka chor deti lekin bar bar curiosity na mujhy rehna na dia ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Beautiful understanding soul of Yasra. It's her core belief in Allaah Swt and Tawakkul that everything is predestined, that gives her that feeling of not bothering with what people think etc.. And the knowledge of what will be, WILL BE. I admire that about her that she doesn't depend on family, husband, surroundings etc... Knowing that Allaah Swt is the Creator, Provider and knows what's in the future 💐💐💐🌸🌸🌸❤️

I have so much respect and admiration for you, Yasra. Your beautiful and honest soul shines through your words; masha Allah masha Allah. You have hit the nail on the head about the deep rooted hypocrisy and superficiality in societies and how to address these issues; ie 'understand that they are their projected ideas and do not define 'you' and it is only Allah who paves our paths rather than our 'so called calculations/securities.' We marry people on the pretext that 'their education, status' will facilitate happiness in our own lives whereas our own journey can only be 'ours' if we allow ourselves to 'empower us by shunning the weight of others expectations and ideas' and only learning to trust and follow Allah. That as you said, is 'tawakkal.' There were so many moments in your interview where I wanted to reach over and just hug you. I send heartfelt prayers and so much love your way and may Allah bless you and yours and always have contentment reign in your lives, ameen sumameen. ❤❤❤❤❤

Yasras level of intellect n her vision of life is quite impressive 👌. She is a kind of rebel Who is showing a mirror to society by her work..Rabia You were soooo good 💜💜💜.Ur questions were up to the mark. Yasras intellect deserves this kind of interview .. Though i m not 100 agreed with Yasras views on aurat march. Coz there is a dire need to make their practical work or efforts visible or to show ,what Are these feminists are capable of besides arranging the rallies n raising the slogans which at times seems to challenge islamic belief system ... There is not only need to adress the male chauvinisme but also women at homes to be adressed ,how to raise ones son, or how a Mother must not differentiate b/w daughter n son, or a Mother in law to treat ones bahu like a human not machine or puppet, n so on...aurat march should be multi dimensional n should refer to Quran sunnah...i m sure they would never get the backlash which they Face every year..its simply coz the core issues like education, forced marriages , right of jobs are "blurred" by edgy slogans..the aurat march might be getting attention for the wrong reasons..n thats why its hard to get anywhere.
