well, your whole country is a vassal state for America against China though.

Oh… I've come this far really interested because I've been waiting for a good movie about Yasuke's story for a long time but, ugh... Besides the zero respect treatment that we already know MidJourney (and other similar apps) give to the work of thousands and thousands of artists (ah, the irony) , there's something about the unmistakable style of AI animation that gives me the creeps. Colorful wrapping paper, but too weird content (uncanny valley at its finest). And soulless too. Now I’m sad… For everything. Maybe next time.

Yes we are developing the concept into a live action feature film. This is meant to be a concept trailer to see if people like the concept and to get constructive feedback.

I hope from Japan that my friends will not be fooled by this lies.

I'm Japanese, but Yasuke's story is a fantasy, and the truth is that Yasuke, a slave, is unusually placed as a chore, and Yasuke is neither a samurai nor a samurai. Although he is twisting the truth to suit his convenience, Japanese people will not look at Yasuke. You're also wasting your time.
@codeblack6 ай бұрын
No we are not wasting our time because the movie concept is no targeted Japanese people. There is a huge Black audience who wants to see this story made. The story is not meant to be a bio pic not does it have to be based on any historical facts. Additionally none of us were there so you can’t say what actually happened during that time period

I don't believe your Japanese. You sound more like a white supremacist. No where in any of the Japanese Journals does it say that Yasuke was a slave. Caspar Speak's video, which is asian himself, on youtube said that a retainer is a Samurai. He gave Yasuke ✔weapons, a ✔private home, ✔stipend and made him a ✔weapon bearer.

Japanese game devs put Yasuke in 'Nioh' as a samurai lol
@gbrkura44673 ай бұрын
@@codeblack Altering historical facts to suit their own convenience is foolishness. The truth is that Yasuke was a slave and a scullery maid. He is not a samurai. The truth is that Yasuke escaped from the Honnoji Incident and was caught and killed by the enemy. Slave and scullery maid is the truth.

There is no historical fact that "African samurai Yasuke" in Japan. Because Yasuke doesn't have family name. Having a family name is essential condition to be a Samurai in Japan. Thus, Yasuke, who does not have a family name, cannot be considered a samurai.
