He was a yati himself, but he had disciples and a life mission of spreading advaitha sidhantha, when doing dhyana in isolation he used to wear only a kaupinam a small piece of cloth around his waste, but he loved a life of yati with nothing to worry in this world. This sloka is an appreciation of the life style of yatis.
