Stop spreading hate! Oman is wonderful country. I was there for two years 2004-06, people are friendly (especially in educated in good neighbourhood). Omani people follow IBADI sect of Islam which is very peaceful (unlike Wahabi Islam), moreover Sultan Qaboos did amazing work in his 50 years of reign. In India people give less than 10% of respect to females in public places, so say what you know!

Bhai galat information mat de logo ko @2:40 bhai economy kaise function karti hai uska koi idea nahi hai tujhe, Oman oil rich bhale hi ho lekin waha ka labour charge jyada hoga isliye waha petrol 50₹/L hai. PPP(Purchasing power parity) se compare kiya jata hai ki us desh ke logo ki average income kya hai and fir compare kiya jata hai ki koi cheez sasti hai ya mehgi. and india me petrol isiliye mehga kahege kyuki oil companies ko per litre petrol with profit 35-40₹/L pad rha tha but Govt tax laga laga ke 110₹/L bech rahi thi.

During Ramadan, everything remains open now including restaurants and food courts all across. Anyone can eat anything during broad daylight, it’s just those who are observing fast that refrain from eating. It should be this way the world over. Every religion has its few days of fasts, but those not fasting should be allowed to eat and live the way they want to.
