You're exaggerating the facts too much, China is definitely ahead of India but hardly by a decade or two not by 60+ years...the fact is that they are extremely innovative & majorly focus on the enhancement of every micro to mega level thing present around them. While the infrastructural standards of USA & China are almost the same but the requirements & lifestyle of people of both the countries are way different which actually make the Chinese to appear more modern or developed on paper but in reality it's not that much. For instance, China possess advance high speed rail while the US don't because majority of people in USA don't travel by train that much, they either use flights or prefer to travel by their own private vehicles, that's why the passenger train companies in US are already struggling & in that case they don't need to waste money on building any modern high speed rail network infrastructure but that doesn't mean that they don't have the technology or resources to develop so.

BTW chinese bullet train travels at the speed of aeroplane and sometimes more than that. A bullet train can cover more towns and cities. You can build more and more stations as you wish but how many airports you will build to cover more towns and cities. It will be very expensive too. You have to invest lots of money in aeroplanes and airports. Perhaps you have not seen china's highways. Just compare it with highways of US. Do you believe that in next 10/20 years we can build infrastuctures like this in India. Almost 10 years have passed we could not build a single bullet train God knows how many years it will take. I belong to Odisha 10 years back Modi govt had announced to build a coastal highway (400/450 KM approx)which will run through coastline of Odisha and bengal. Till today an inch of it has not been constructed. Even land aquisition has not been done completely. We need a very progressive govt to build infrasructure like chinese in next 10/20 years. If Modi govt rule this nation in coming days India will be more and more backward in comparison to China.

This is according to year 2000 data so you would figure there are more Han Chinese. Some figure they now make half the population of the main urban area of Lhasa. There has traditionally been a significant Hui Muslim population but they were a target of the 2008 riots and some may have left. Some parts of Lhasa are becoming more and more like a Han Chinese city. The crowds are mostly Han Chinese. Roads are lined with massage parlors, karaokes, hair salons Early History of Lhasa During the reign of King Songtsan Gambo in the 7th century, Potala Palace, the Jokhang Monastery, and the Ramoche Monastery were built. In addition, many small monasteries and palaces were constructed in Lhasa and its surrounding area. For example, the nine-story Pobengang Palace, where Tubo Minister Tome Sambozha created the Tibetan script and Songtsan Gambo studied Tibetan, was built in the northern suburbs. In addition, three monasteries were built for Songtsan Gambo's three Tibetan concubines: One of them was built in the Zhayaba Valley in the eastern suburb for Mamsa Trizun; the second monastery was built for Songtsan Gambo's concubine from Zhangzhung by the Tibogor Fountain north of the Jokhang Monastery; and the third monastery was built for Songtsan Gambo's concubine from Moya on the eastern slope of the Tie (Yaowang) Mountain, where the Pharla Lhufo Cave Temple still exists today. At that time, people took ritual walks around the Jokhang Monastery. A whole set of rituals were formed for people to worship the statue. Also during this time, three white dagobas were built under the name of Bagagarling between the Red Hill and the Yaowang Mountain, forming the major entrance to Lhasa. Unfortunately, Lhasa did not continue its fast expansion after the deaths of Songtsan Gambo and two of his concubines, Princess Wencheng of the Tang Dynasty (618-907) and the Nepalese Princess Khridzun.

Indian trains run on broad guage lines. All Chinese trains run on standard guage. Broad guage lines speciality is it can take more load but with lesser speed. Standard guage can achieve speeds greater then broad guage. All bullet trains also use standard guage lines.
