Actually, that is pretty bad thing. Monarchy sucks because government pretty much tells you how to live life. Whenever people start preserving their culture and customs, they start discriminating against "others." The result is that Bhutan is the most closed country in the world. There was violence against Nepali speaking Bhutanese and they were killed. Even today, Nepal has a lot of refugees from Bhutan that escaped violence. Societies with heavy "envy" aim for equality. Inequality in wealth is natural outcome of character of people in societies. Free societies will always have inequality because people with strong character and talent are always fewer in number.

I think Bhutanese traffic rules are top class. Never seen anything like that ever. When I visited Bhutan I was shocked to see the difference from India in a neighbouring country. The moment you step on a zebra crossing, all cars stop for you immediately. You can't do jaywalking. Moment a cop see at you jaywalking, then they will immediately fine you. Taxis have a dedicated spot to pick and drop customers, if they pick from anyone else they are fined. It's so much to learn from our beautiful neighbouring country.
