He isn't even a travel vlogger. I am Surinamese and he didn't even go 3km further than his hostel. Where is the nature, the jungle which we are known for? our vibrant food (not just Indian food). Of course, he's going to be in a bad mood if he only saw the city center. Imagine roaming only 2sq km of Maharashtra or Delhi in 5 days. That doesn't encompass the whole of India, the same way our city center. And Paramaribo is not a bad place either. vibrant night life and good food. This brother desperately needs to do more research before visiting. and not to live the cheapest way possible.

This guy had other intentions when he came from Belem with a one way ticket to Suriname. Here is a part of a news site were I will share a few news links at the end that was written in Dutch. On Saturday, August 3, 2024, passenger Chaudhary Navankar traveled from Belem to Suriname with GOL Airlines. Upon arrival, based on a previous report from the Joint Regional Communications Center (JRCC), he was identified as a 'person of interest' and subject to an additional check by the security authorities. The JRCC, part of the Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (IMPACS), had warned the Surinamese authorities about possible suspicious activities of the Chaudhary. During the check, it turned out that the passenger did not have the necessary additional documents, such as a return ticket or proof of transit. The passenger was subjected to an additional check in accordance with safety protocols. During the interrogation, the passenger became rebellious towards the immigration officers, which disrupted the progress of the procedure. In the end, he bought a return ticket through COPA Airlines and was admitted to Suriname after checking this document. In conclusion: Every country on earth have certain regulations in place were anyone has to abide by. And this is a regional regulation to prevent criminals coming to the region or using the region as a stepping stone to enter other countries. This could be the reason why he was speaking so negative about the country Suriname, because he couldn't got away with what he intentionally wanted to do. I would say to all the Surinamese in the comment section that you should be thankful that he speaks negative about Suriname to his followers, that surely are mostly Indians, because it makes the country less attractive for those with bad intentions. To answer your Question about why indian restaurants only accept cash only is just because of one thing-TO ESCAPE TAXATION.Talking about where i live in canada, many of them prefer to deal with cash is just because- YOU PAY IN CASH THEY GET CASH(NO TAX APPLICABLE ON IT UNLESS YOU GET REAL RECEIPT) THEY (ONLY DESI) UNDERPAY THEIR EMPLOYEES WHO WORK CASH JOB, TO AVOID TAXATION(DONT EVEN GET MINIMUM WAGE ) This is the real funda behind it.

After watching him just ranting about Suriname and Guyana, I searched youtube, google, reddit threads and did my own research to find that there are lot of places a traveller can explore in these countries. So better to do a bit of RnD. This video is perfectly Ok for knowing the corruption and all. May be he's not the type of guy to go and explore the hidden gems of the country but these kind of videos put a wrong impression on people like you who doesn't like to do their own research. I do follow this channel, but his videos are not informative to learn about country, it's culture, it's food etc. I generally watch @passangerparamvir's video for that. I feel that Navankur's videos aren't the best reference to decide whether to visit a country or not. His videos can be important to learn the corrupt practices and mistakes one can avoid. I respect him for that.

Indians paise save karte by not showing full sales ...less sales less tax. Second thing what charges they pay to the bank may be 1% - 2% for switching cards ...they collect it from customers. It was happening in India also before UPI that too in Bangalore.
