In Japan, we celebrate the Tanabata Festival every year on July 7th.The Tanabata Festival originates from a Japanese folktale about Altair and Vega.The Tanabata stars, Orihime (Vega) and Hikoboshi (Altair), shine in the summer night sky, separated by the Milky Way.The Tanabata folktale is a tale of a sad love that was born from these stars.
日本では、毎年7月7日に七夕祭りを祝います。七夕祭りは、アルタイルとベガに関する日本の民話に由来しています。七夕の星である織姫（ベガ）と彦星（アルタイル）は、天の川によって隔てられ、夏の夜空に輝きます。七夕の民話は、これらの星から生まれた悲しい愛の物語です。
This video was taken on Tanabata, July 7, 2024, at Takamine Plateau in the Asama Mountain Range (Nagano Prefecture). The distant mountain range is the Yatsugatake Mountains, and Mount Fuji can be seen small on the left. The city lights are Saku City（Nakasendo） in Nagano Prefecture. To get to this location, take the Nagano Shinkansen from Tokyo to Sakudaira Station, and then take a bus to Takamine Plateau.
この動画は2024年7月7日七夕に、浅間山系（長野県）の高峰高原で撮影されました。遠くの山並みは八ヶ岳、左手に小さく見えるのは富士山です。街の明かりは長野県佐久市です。この場所へ行くには、東京から長野新幹線で佐久平駅まで行き、そこからバスで高峰高原まで行きます。
