I ordered the Yaw2 Pro directly on the website, and after a few issues with the sensors (solved by the good support team of Yaw), this one works perfectly 🤩 It's a real pleasure to use it everyday 😍 I use it on consoles with Sim Racing Studio and on PCVR too.

Can you confirm what actually comes with the PRO version? Do the mounting plates for steering wheel and shifter come with it? I see they are sold separately on the website.

I was a Kickstarter backer, we received the central mount and one side plate as backers. The way I interpret the Yaw web store for a retail Pro unit you can choose either the central mount, or two side rails for the same price.. or you can add additional accessories to your order to get both central and side mounts

Has the USB problem been fixed yet? I have attempted to contact Yaw via email about this several times and they have not responded.

Depends on what your specific problem is I guess, I’m having intermittent dropouts of usb with mine, I expect the problem point to be the connection between rotation and pitch platforms, currently waiting on YawVR electrical engineer to return from leave to troubleshoot

@@ItsVRK My USB has never worked. I did a video call with them and they acknowledged this saying they know about it and are working on a fix. This was a few months ago. They haven't responded to me despite numerous emails to them. VERY DISSAPOINTED ...

I believe they have said that KS shipment should recommence during summer which it still is in Europe, not sure how many units though.. I do know that new orders are shipping fast, and KS backers that elect to pay difference are receiving them fast as well.

​@ItsVRK I hope you are right about resuming shipping but I really don't believe that for a second. They weren't exactly pushing them out at a fast pace at any rate. Backer 36 still hasn't received their Yaw so that gives an indication of how few units have been sent. I struggle to believe anything they communicate. Lots of broken promises and unethical business practices.

@stewartfisher8813 Yeah, only YawVR knows how many Ks units have shipped, we do know they weren’t shipping consecutively at one stage.. I am backer #68 for instance.. I do know from the Discord that people are getting new orders fairly regularly.. which is a good sign for the recommencement of KS units shipping 🤞

I am backer #1201. I was willing to pay extra but the lack of communication from Yaw is very concerning. I went ahead an purchased a DOF Reality H6 and have been very happy with it. It would be nice if Yaw would just start shipping a few units a month to KS backers and word would spread.

Embarassed Kickstarter backer here everyone says we've been scammed. Since we aren't KZbinrs or giving them money now. Were just the ones that helped get this started and probably won't ever get what we paid for only empty extension promises. Now new buyers don't even have to pay before they send it out. I'm sure a lot of us would be willing to pay the difference to get a unit. I'd even accept a partial refund. But this is the way this company treats the people who made it all possible.

Excellent vid, and subscribed out of interest to see the new content. I did toy for some time and very nearly bit the bullet on this, however on the facebook pages etc, there seems to be so many issues, and very few with actual full working unit and lack of responses or taking forever to resolved that I'm too nervous to part with that much cash, which for that reason I'm now leaning more towards a 8020 extrusion platform with SFX150 type actuators etc. That, plus the stated weight limit is a bit close to the bone as I'm a bit of a porker. It's a shame though as style wise it looks superb and in theory would've/could've been so much easier than the whole 8020 type build had the QC been there and stronger motors for us fatties (at around 110kg just myself nevermindd the heavy TPR kit and other stuff)

Thanks for the sub, I can appreciate the apprehension based on all the factors you outlined.. I do hope/think the problems are reducing.. I expect to be interviewing YawVR again sometime this month so we should get more detail then.
