I always wondered how American School holidays worked. Here in Australia the kids get 6 weeks between December (end of school year) and January (our summer, January is also when the school year starts), 2 weeks over Easter(autumn), two weeks in June/July(winter) and then another two weeks in spring during September/October.

I left home at 18. I lived across the country, myself in Nevada and her in Florida. I moved to Florida when I was 35. I am now 46 and live about 30 mins. ❤😊 Thank you for making our days brighter and reminding us of our worth.

We only have two children here at home. The farthest one of the older kids live is five hours away. Next year however, our oldest daughter, her husband and our grandson will move to North Carolina and our second son and his wife move to Ohio. We live in Idaho so it is going to be hard!

My Mom and brother lives hour and half from me in Holtwood pa. My other brother lives 10minutes from me and my sister lives 9 hours away from mein TN. My dad passed away in October of 1991. I live by myself because Tim is in a nursing home. He has dementia and other health issues and it's not safe for him to here with me.
