Yes the 3D aspect would really bring her art to another level. I literally can’t imagine it.

I’ve been to Yayoi Kusama’s Infinity Room at The Broad Museum in Los Angeles. Fascinating. Interactive immersive installations such as hers provide a 3-dimensional visceral experience which is palpable to the viewer.

It's amazing to see how social media and mostly Instagram is helping old and emerging artists gain such large audiences. One of the positive aspects of social media. I am so glad to see that people go to these exhibitions even if it's for an instagram pic. You're still left with some bit of knowledge about the artist and its art. Kudos to the young people who help artists revive and thrive in these times 🤍

I had the great pleasure of experiencing Kusama’s installation “With All My Love For The Tulips, I Pray Forever “ at the Marciano Art Foundation in Los Angeles California: the warmth and infectious joy of the immersion in the piece was overwhelming and invigorating! ✌️❤️

luckily enough to see the Infinity Mirrors exhibit in Toronto at the Art Gallery of Ontario a few years ago. Recently saw the one at The Broad (LA) a month ago and the one at the Tate Modern (London) in December!

As a female mentally ill artist, Yayoi Kusama is very inspiring! I like her big installation pieces! I don't usually like polka dots but she takes them to another level!

She is a strong human being; you can see her sadness and pain in her eyes. The tears are flowing like butterflies.

I happened to see a book about her in the the Gwangju National Museum while perusing there. Luckily, months later, at a bookstore, I found an illustrated history of her and her story. Allowing me to see her work while practicing my Korean.
