They are not paying out of pocket for studio time, for Timbaland's product, or anything else. It isn't like Columbia is going in and pulling their personal music and using it. LOL This is a decent situation for them. They are getting exposure and getting paid at the same time. Columbia would not have noticed them if they had not done this and they probably would have never gotten the opportunity to work with Timbaland.
