I know fire is the "worst" damage type in DkS2, in terms of most resisted element. . . but that doesn't stop me from forbidden sun spamming things to death anyway.

@@Ghostscar lightning; with dark being a close 2nd place. this really only matters for NG+ runs and PvP though, as that's where you're going to be focusing on eking out as much damage as you can.

DS2 always makes me smile with some of the creative spells. Even if they were bad (looking at you splintering lightning). The constant push of ideas is what has the cheese pews of current Gen FromSoft and will evolve with every new ip.

On the Chariot boss I just sat in an alcove and put Lingering Flame on the track and the boss just ate it up everytime he passed by. Then I gave him the finishing blow when he was hanging on for dear life on the edge of the ledge. 😂 Love this spell.

I randomly stumbled across your DS2 videos about a month ago. DS2 was my first Souls game so it has a special place in my heart and I like seeing others still making videos on it. This video in particular I really enjoyed because in my very first playthrough I used Pyromancies in tandem with my Strength build and it was so fun despite all the dying that occured during that playthrough. 😂

Soft cap for Fire bonus is Int + Fth = 60 (so 30/30, 40/20, 10/50, etc) makes it easy to incorporate into other builds. If you go 30/30 you can also incorporate dark damage too. you could have spent more of those levels into attunement for more casts or into survivability

The dark pyro flame only does like 20 more damage when you're fully hollow so it's really not worth it to use

I also noticed that the one merchant in Majula sells armor of certain slain bosses particularly when after you slain them proficiently like Lost Sinner, Looking Glass Knight, Smelter Demon, and Velstadt. I have all those armors with my current best character as of now
