Try Anubis vampire, the stun of vaporising and it being an extender is so op. As well u get free hp regen. Another feature for runners is laser stingy eyes or after image to catch up.

being used by a youtuber does not grants any "high ranks in specs" gage definetely knows good combos, but even he used boxing much on certain stands in his videos you can clearly see that there is 2 points: 1. He attacks desperate opponent that panic and does a real combo and then doing the rest with m1s 2. Person block the instant slash, get gage in 1 combo and gage does aerial ace + teleport because he is 25% health if not dead Pluck is good for fast killing, especially people who don't know what they are doing and have no spec. But just even raged crazy dimond will do more then 11 with only single m1

Gage even admitted, he almost never wipe with a first try, so making an sbr solo wipe video is basically based on a few things - be a mid skill or higher - get lucky to not get team out of 7 people with 1 hacker in it - you can also let the rest after u fought 1 running noob for 8 minutes to others at start and just kill the remaining ones Like, if you get REALLY lucky with stuff like big teams dying to zone, no hackers, last person alive is noob tusk 1, then u can actually wipe sbr with standless specless alone. So gage wiping a few sbrs with pluck does not make it good at ANY point

Magicians red + Hamon = ultimate flamethrower like you could stun your opponent with zoom punch, red bind them, and if you want just hamon barrage them. the hamon barrage only ends when you either stop or the bar stops another thing is scarlet overdrive does make a pretty good heavy punch because it causes burn

With the semi recent WS buffs, I do think a WS build is in order. WS + Vamp sounds pretty good, it should give memory disk a use since you wont need to worry about hamon as much, spirit disk basically conforms a blood suck or flash freeze, Plus the added regen should be helpful since it doesn't have many defensive options. you could also try WS + Vamp race + boxing (or kcr + vamp race + boxing), you still get all vampires passives without the fighting style if you just have vampire as your race, this means you get hyper regen, extra spec damage, and quicker limb regen, and with boxing being a high damage and defense spec, this works very well with ws. Just try something with vamp race, it would be nice to see how that extra spec damage could benefit some stands. Perhaps it would make pluck not absolutely dog shit?

Thrust + VOID surprise + M1+ barrage + M1 + pierce + 2m1 + triple pierce + M1 + thrust or crescent slash Void surprise stun is giant and if u manage to hit someone that got ragdolled and stand crashed by thrust they get combo wombo ed Void surprise after thrust because void surprise got really big hitbox and lingering so it probably will work if the game isn't delayed

@@atilla2651 ok look not trying to write a whole essay here BUT crazy diamond + rage can do around 8 to 9 damage m1s to a boxing user, and rock trap can stun you in place wwhilst freezing them again, most yba players would hold block so just wait for their block and delay your rocktrap again so you can inf combo, when it ends you simply just need to do a stingy eye and that's a pretty high damage combo, if they melt you use life drain and if they barrage you inside your rock trap just simply barrage back and freeze them and they'll mostly block so there goes your new combo

So uh cool trick for Pluck + SM: as you all know theres some sort of delayed hitbox of Pierce Strike which for some reason lands if you miss it and then use Instant Slash right after it, making it an guardbreak (AND unparryable) tp. You can pair it up with some other moves but i've been using it with the SM Bite and when i say this tcombo makes you feel bad i'm not lying. Not only that but for some forbidden reason Bite has some sort of stun so you can mix up some more moves after that.

I don’t understand eclipse constantly calling pluck a bad spec, it trades health for massive combo extenders. Many of the people in high ranks (including rank 1 in 1v1s) use some sort of pluck build. It’s also great at putting constant pressure on someone

I think vamps usable since a lot of people are using boxing unlike before when everyone had hamon, i'd say spins competing for the worst since most of its moves are blockable projectiles. But yeah vamp isn't as good as boxing or hamon and gets completely shredded by hamons like you said

silver chariot + vamp best combo is: cycle slash > million pricks > vaporization freezing > life drain > last shot. it was broken when i used it
