If you have hamon, new one deals more damage. Old one ends 20 seconds, while the new one is 10 seconds. Hamon charge doesnt end up 20 seconds even if u upgrade it fully. So yeah, if ur hamon is charged fully or not the new one will probably deal more damage.

also the new one makes it so that your hamon charge dont go away, and you're dealing more damage at once the problem with most yba beatdowns is that mid beatdown the person just regens the little .03 damage hits. it makes it so that it doesn't do as much damage as literally a few m1. but with the sptw bd being shorter it makes it so that even vamps cant regen all the damage at once and making it ultimately better.

I tried to main sptw today. turns out, now he does a fraction of that damage (the new beat down in video) The barrage is 0.4 dmg and hits are 8.7.

Yeah pretty much most of your dmg comes from the last hit which depends on your opponents hp and i find that bullshit

Basically all the good damage now depends on the last hit of every beatdown and also the lower your opponent's health are (applies to NPC) it can deal so much if your opponent's health is very low which can deal 101.60 if I remember
