A couple thousand people singing sea shanties along with an acapella group. How fantastic is that?! Thanks for the Home Free reactions! They are the absolute best

Tim really cuts through. He just has that kind of a voice, so much clarity down in the low bass register. So rare and awesome live. Thank you for reacting to the live version. There is so much energy with them live.

They have another great live performance that they did on their first tour post-Covid: Dreamer - LIVE at the Ryman feat. Texas Hill. It’s an original and there are two other great HF only videos of it but the live one is amazing and Tim does a really fun intro of everyone mid-song. It’s sooo good and often missed by reactors.

Personally, I do NOT think that this is LIVE. I think that it is Footage of a LIVE performance, edited into a great looking video. It is like Taping a LIVE concert and editing it for a VIDEO show. But, I could be wrong. I know the Title says live, but that is not always correct. But, great Post, no matter how they di8d it. I liked you comment aboutn so manhy different angles shot but never seeing a camera. That is why I say that it was not Live.
@rllangevin38417 ай бұрын
Apparently others who were there have posted that they did two video takes at the concert to get all the footage they needed to put this one video together. I’m pretty confident #HomeFree would not misrepresent and say it was live if it wasn’t.
@donnilloyd13557 ай бұрын
@@rllangevin3841 They wouldn't. The footage is LIVE FOOTAGE. From 2 different video takes. Hence me saying that it was " Footage of a Live Performance". If Others said that they did it TWICE, they obviously edited it for a better video. Of a live performance. When they do this, and I mean anyone that does this, they should say "Taped LIVEv FOOTAGE and edited" End of proble. Because TECHNICALLY, 2 tapings of live events, is not LIVE. I hope you are understanding me. I am NOT arguing, at all. I am just stating TRUE FACTS. And just so ya know, I admit that I am an axxhole. But if being truthful makes me an axx, then an axx I am. And proud of it. Great reply. IMO.

So much fun. Yes, live and they sound so good. Another one you might enjoy is their new shanty that Chance wrote called Skull and Bones. After the Sea Shanty Medley went viral during the pandemic, Ubisoft, the game maker, approached HF and asked them to write a new shanty for their pirate game Skull and Bones. It’s a banger. There’s a lyric video of it that shows a lot of the game, a short live video HF did for the Ubisoft crowd and a new final video the boys just did for it. It’s a great shanty! Austin is going to leave the group at the end of the year…..you should try out!!! 😍😃☠

I don't know if you've been told but Adam Chance was the bass singer in his former group Street Corner Symphony. So when Tim goes higher into singer tenor, Chance will go down into bass. I've heard it said that Home Free has 2 basses, 5 tenors, and 5 beatboxers.

I was in that audience. Absolutely amazing night. I'm pretty sure that Adam wasn't doing lyrics, but an additional layer of drums. We actually got to hear it twice so they could ensure they had enough good camera footage. They had several camera men walking around with steadicams. If you ever get a chance to see them in person don't hesitate.
