If you want to travel via babusar, make sure you are single rider on your bike. Your ride will be more enjoyable, no matter if its a ybr or GS15.
I have also shared my experience of witnessing a 70cc bike crossing us at lulusar lake.

G bhai aap ne bilkul theek kaha hai ke YBR Under power hai per sawal uth taa hai kiu ? Ye aik confort bike ke saath fuel saver bike bhi hai jis ka weight bhi normal bike se ziyada hai. Ye bike drag race ke liya bilkul bhi nahi hai. Jo log aram deh mizaaj hain or fuel saving ko passand kertey hain orr iss ke saath saath attractiveness passand hotey hain ye unn logo ki bike hai.

In my opnion, the bike is suitable for babusar top along with the camping weight... The main issue is the babusar tops' height... It sits around 13,500 feet which makes the air less dense for the engine to breath properly and produce the max power...

I personally think a 250cc bike with Atleast 22 hp will be a comfortable ride for these tours... 10hp is way too less... Struggling rather enjoying. Absence of Torque will kill the riding pleasure on mountains and on highways....

Yes 2016 ybr has restrictive silencer and air filter meanwhile 2019 has much better airflow and less restrictive exhaust.

Just want to add this to your info. Taking 2016 ybr with old exhaust and old carburator installed will give you such reaults. Try taking 2019 20 for the same tour. Welcome in advance :)

@@muckingforon7036 Ybr started local production from 2018. 2018 onwards ybr have free flow exhaust ( more noise and more power) , less restrictive airfilter and a down size in up jet of carburetor. In short, 2018 onwards ybr are faster and louder than imported 2017,2016 models

@@abdullahhafeez4956 yes paint and build quality especially of the indicators and speedometer is better in imported models. 2018 onwards ybr have a cheap meter with 120 max speed and also stops working. Imported models speedometer has max speed of 140 and last a lifetime.

Try some things like remove air filter increase air in your bike carburator use fuel booster to get some better performance

Use pz26 and use lower the needle jet and use 75 main jet then share the result. Pz26 is of cg.

It is not underpower fuel and air mixture setting is different for every region.Good setting at Karachi is useless in mountainous areas.

Easiest solution is removing the air ducts in these bike at that altotude air is very thin so its hard for the bike to breath remove air duct and install free flow exhaust

ybz DX varient le lein..it is a good bike overall considering has disc brake too and get tubeless tyres. Tubeless are better recommended for touring .

I have done trip from Islamabad to khunjerab pass back in 2018 on YBR with 2 person and max luggage having one side storage box plus 2 main bags , 2 small bags and some extra tools kit for bike Yes YBR was struggling on khunjerab pass specially coming back from chilas to babusar top but we both had covered that area without any stop as YBR was in motion and i didn't broke bike momentum because on those roads you have to drive bike zig zag not in a straight path if you drive YBR in zig zag right after every turn then bike will pick his momentum and easily cover next turn. Some people drive in zig zag manner but only when they feels now bike isn't having a power that wrong on babusar top specially on YBR with max load you have drive in zig zag so bike picks his max power And on same trip i also took ybr to naltar lake and lalazar which is totally off road drive

Puncture shops boohat km hain. Hotels/restaurants bhi km hain. Road is damaged after dasu uptil raikot bridge In june july whole dasu patch is extremely hot. Lahore jesa mausm hota hai. No waterfalls na honai k brabar (thnda pani mushkil se milta hai) Jb kh naran babusar ki trf se thnd bhi milti hai aur hotels restaurants bhi ziada hain. Puncture shops km hain yahan bhi.
