It is a Color Rhapsody cartoon featuring Sparky. The cartoon is cut from the 32nd episode of "Totally tooned in". It's recorded from greek television, so the subtitles are greek. The title shown in the video is "Lethal tweetment" but the original one is "A Boy, A Gun And Birds" as we can see here: www.cartoonresearch.com/tooned.... I uploaded it because I haven't found this cartoon anywhere else.

Cartoons like this still carry the heaviest weight. More than anything like Stephen Universe could, or "Star Vs. Evil". No studio has the mind or the heart to make something like this anymore. The longer we continue to live on, the stronger the sentiments and the artistry these cartoons have.

It's a pretty typical child's reaction to finding out that they've caused harm, to say they never meant to. Come to think of it, I've seen plenty of adults respond that way as well. Yet neither this cartoon nor "Song of the Birds" had the guts to have the baby bird remain injured/killed.

A very heartwarming cartoon with a great message. It's hard to imagine there was a time when kids were given guns as presents, especially at such a young age. I noticed people commenting on remakes. An episode of The Simpsons is patterned in much the same way. Thank you for posting.
