Haha oh this place yep, keep it up I see this name sometimes and smile from my abstracted view Logic always wins. Evolution is relentless.. would only add "data not information" concepts but they always come up in the general message anyway, individuals and trust etc

10:36 pool tables anecdote is insightful. The people who had time to play pool when the startup was in “free fall” obviously weren’t doing very much, so they would disappear. 16:50 “how to work with me” letter 29:24 you need to find better friends who are more supportive 32:00 Bootstrapping 34:00 MVP stage 40:54 Dragon ball Z 🤣

Haha have to go but he started talking about a child.. you see a bigger world view no matter who you are.. haha that part ended nicely, anti aging sure, but just prolonging the inevitable 100% of us dies in this place. hahaha people who want to live forever are however a bit of a "careful what you wish for" and "anything" is possible is almost literal ! but.. alas aging shows change is constant and there is randomness inherent, something will always come up and asymmetry of getting more out of biology means a dead end approaches the more you chase it. Just like smashing open mother Earth in search of "truth" That never finds them true peace or happiness.. as much as they may hide it ! spot the people by their glowing happiness, and lack of ego is always relative.. a good question to ask people might be what are their 3 most recent moments where they felt any of sadness despair helpless etc.. these point to ego (except when it is empathy).. gauge it however you will, we all do it when we meet someone anyway, usually we gain most of what we need to know in the first.. i dont remember 15 seconds or something.. and beyond a minute or two of QUALITY interaction a lot of data is exchanged and interpreted.. Gap fillers indeed.. all of the positive comments are gap fillers in the new data economy... which is all of us. We are all specialists and a varying amount of generalist. If you can focus your mind, all it takes is focusing it on your strengths and letting the rest go. It is what it is, we have no power except choice.. good choices boil down to experience and who you really are eventually exposes itself as actually caring about people. You can't fake it to make it in the long run. Being genuine is the best advice, pair it with be open and skeptical, be very careful with "know".. questioning everything is the only way for a generalist but we should all have some of our time dedicated to.. well a lifetime seeking more learning What good would this place be if you couldn't learn.. being your GENUINE self (like you do in a dream) gives you feedback here. In a dream you get far deeper abstract breadcrumbs. No cheats in this game, if you fake it.. you just extend your own dissatisfaction. It has been obvious to most of us all along, but this line of discussion has been brewing lately ! because those up top realised long ago, we are all in this together :-)

The advice about China aged well with all the crackdown on private enterprise there recently as well as the legal uncertainty around VIE.

Didn't see it but China is an enigma A great watch is "China's new normal" some incredible stats in there, and insight. If I could remember the interview about the BSN with Sergey Nazarov I would. Only people who have been to China should really talk.. and only from their experiences. We should interpret those, not anything to do with big business. geopolitics.. so the media.. all media. Social media is so far from perfect it is damaging in many ways. Some good and bad is unseen except by those who are directly involved. The old saying about.. cleaning up your own backyard is very timely I would guess... I avoid this stuff as much as possible why ? same reason everyone should at least try to. Do not need to know basis. I can't know all the base learning to know what I need to know, to be qualified to comment. The media is a good tool ! it shows so clearly lately how much bias we all really have.

"Lobbying"= bribing
@julkiewitz3 жыл бұрын
Nope. "Right to repair" is an effect of lobbying. And it's a pro-consumer law. Did consumer rights' advocates bribe the state governments that passed it? No, they made their case by being extremely well prepared in hearings and having very compelling people testify. But that kind of level of expertise costs money like everything else in this world. Equating all lobbying to bribery is a completely useless oversimplification.
