So much for all the lying and hiding Ishita did, at the end of it, Pihu still had to pay for her mistake. If only Ishita didn't get overly emotional and take the entire blame on her head, the destructive path the entire family went down because of her might have never happened. And if she didn't lie and hide things back then, she might've been able to save Pihu too considering she was two years younger and there was no tampering with the evidence. It literally was just an accident as opposed to here where an innocent person went to jail and she's trying to keep the evidence hidden. And the fact that she keeps defending her actions by saying things were tense back then also makes zero sense. Things were a little tense yes, but here they're a disaster!! If she can tell the truth to Simi and expect her to understand here, I don't get why she couldn't take that decision back then. Ishita always takes decisions impulsively which end up destroying the family. First she ruined Ruhi's life over Pihu and now, poor Adi is just outright dead over Pihu.

@@unknown-rw8bm she did initially say it was an accident, Simi refused to believe her and kept saying I know it was intentionally done so she changed tracks of how she did it on purpose. But regardless, from a story perspective, this is just ridiculous!! When they showed a 12-13 year old not being charged in a hit and run, (despite the fact that he was older, and there were two crimes involved as they said, a minor driving, and a hit and run) Pihu wouldn't have gotten charged either. Even with Simi's anger and her wrath, the courts would have done nothing to such a young child, so Ishita literally just ruined two years of everyone's lives over Pihu for absolutely nothing! And they did have CCTV footage as well which Param revealed later, if they let the police investigate, they would've retrieved it and nothing would've happened to Pihu all the more. Ishita ko mahaan banane ke chakkar mein, they love screwing up all logic and sense. And it's always done over Pihu.

Ishita isn't a saint who can do no wrong. If anything, she's one character that's more wrong than any other since her actions are what constantly alter their entire family. And there are multiple times in the show where she was more wrong than Raman, but the writers always glossed over it and covered it up by having Raman lose his temper to make Ishita the bechari. Who on earth can blame a father for hating his son's killer? Who cares if its his wife, she's still his son's killer.
