Thanks for the added info today on the early days of getting your first automobile. Great that many are still being enjoyed today.

Sunbeam-Mabley is bizarre. But the more I think about it, the more I like it!

Good Job on explanation of buying a “higher-end” car. It’s a hard subject with prices varying wildly over the years. You made the best statement one could give, “buy what you like!”. As a personal note, we tend to have Pierce-Arrow’s. :)

During the time your channel covers, JC Whitney & Co. was founded in Chicago. In the early 1970's the catalog contained a plethera of parts for the Ford Model T. It was said at that time "You could build a new Model T with just the parts from JC Whitney!" Thinking about "Assembly Required," was that actually possible? Did anyone ever try to do it? It probably would have been more expensive to do that, than to just buy a used one. Please give us a brief history of the origins of the JC Whitney business and catalog sales. What parts could I purchase "back in the day?" If you already have this as a future episode, I'll take a rain check until then. Thanks and keep up the great work!

They're on the list. Though they began pre-WWI JC Whitney didn't become the force they became until after that war. I do plan on covering them, but it will be awhile.

I'm not sure what's up your craw, but you obviously don't need to be here. Wild Bill, love your show, keep doing what you're doing.
