I wouldn't go by the views. Stray Kids has 80 or so music videos, they put so much content out so quickly it's hard to keep up 😂 a lot of their videos are under 100 million views but they're still bangers... like Freeze, Easy, Double Knot.. etc Lalalala, long story short, is about overcoming negative emotions until all thats left is joy. Each monster represents a negative emotion, which is why they all eventually fade away.
@Resistance_Is_Futile1of3Күн бұрын
The long story long: - In LALALALA there are 4 emotions, "Joy, Anger, Sorrow, Pleasure" represented by each of those 4 scenes they were in, you can see a Chinese character disappear meaning they beat those emotions until all that's left is the character for pleasure [see all 4 of them 2:05] - 1 Anger was at the bottom of the ocean (One Piece/Pirates/Caribbean). It's a dense emotion that we try to smother & it thrives under pressure. - 2 Joy was a bank. It's an emotion that we store & take out for special things. These were the clowns who look like the ones from the Dark Knight. - 3 Sorrow was a stark place of floating ash and monuments that were like graves. The members who represent this emotion are in pale & washed out colors mixed with white. - 4 Happiness/Pleasure was in a fort of musical. It's an emotion that's loud & messy. We hear it before we see it. [Mad Max mixed with military.] 🖖🏽

One of the main things to know about Stray Kids is that they are primarily self-produced: lyrics, composition & beats. They make their own music and have over 288 songs so far.

The kpop idols train to be able to dance and sing, they have companies who scout people or go through auditions and those who don't know how to sing or dance will train very hard and that's why all the groups you've seen so far are very good at everything

More about Stray Kids (aka SKZ) in case you haven't read much about them, yet. ------------------------------------------ Leader Bang Chan flew from Australia to Korea when he was 13 yrs old and trained at JYP for several years. While waiting to debut, he formed a rap group called 3Racha w/ two other trainees, Changbin and Han. They wrote/produced their own music. JYP gave Bang Chan the unusual opportunity to help develop his own group (which they did through a reality show, but Bang Chan had WAY more influence in picking his members than pretty much any other idol trainee had ever had before). When SKZ was formed, 3Racha was absorbed into that group. 3Racha still writes for themselves/performs on occasion. Several of their songs/videos are on KZbin. They write/produce (and often compose/arrange) the vast majority of the music for Stray Kids. Over time the other members have also gotten involved in writing/production. ---------------------------------- Stray Kids debuted in 2018. In early videos, you'll see 9 people performing, but one left in Oct 2019. SKZ have been an 8-member group ever since. ---------------------------------- DanceRacha - main dancers (Hyunjin, Felix (deep-voiced guy), and Lee Know). But all 8 members dance very well. ---------------------------------- VocalRacha - main vocalists (Seungmin and I.N). But all 8 members are great singers and switch around on lead vocals, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Main rappers - Changbin, Han, Hyunjin and Felix. Unlike many K-pop groups, all 8 members can/have rapped, depending on the song. ---------------------------------- Languages: Bang Chan (the leader) and Felix (deep-voiced guy) are both Korean-Australian. English is their first language. The other 6 members speak English with varying degrees of fluency. All 8 members are fluent in Korean and also sing/rap in Japanese. They often mix Korean/English and Japanese/English in their songs. ---------------------------------- Not all of their music goes hard all the time. SKZ also write/sing beautiful ballads, as well as songs for K-drama, J-drama, anime, video game & movie soundtracks. They also collab with/produce for other idol groups and solo artists from Korea, Japan, China, Thailand and the U.S. ---------------------------------- Fandom name: STAY ------------------------------------------------------------------------ MEMBERS 3Racha (Stray Kids' writing/production unit): Bang Chan - leader of SKZ & 3Racha, main songwriter/producer/composer/arranger, vocalist, dancer, rapper on some songs Changbin - main songwriter/producer, main rapper, composer, vocalist, dancer Han - main songwriter/producer, main rapper, composer, vocalist, dancer ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The other members: Lee Know - main dancer, choreographer for some songs, vocalist, songwriter, rapper on some songs Hyunjin - main dancer/main rapper, songwriter, producer, vocalist (also an artist & some of his paintings have been used as art for their songs) Felix - main dancer/ main rapper, songwriter, large vocal range when singing: bass---->baritone--->tenor--->high falsetto Seungmin - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs I.N - main vocalist, songwriter, dancer, rapper on some songs

From the Stayville library: this is from Stay @stillastrayyayayaya who suggest to look at the Prologue Video to help give an idea of what Rock Star as an album is truly about.: - The album name may be called "Rock Star" but it's supposed to be "rak" which in Chinese means "pleasure" [yes, they are a Korean group but they take on different references which are inspired from different things], So it's a play on the word- "rock". They play on this word in the title track, "La la la la" as well cause it sometimes 'sounds' like they are saying "rak rak rak rak". In the Prologue video to Rock Star, they reference 4 Chinese characters which are sorrow, anger, joy & pleasure. These represent the emotions one feels when going on stage to perform for the first time like a school kid performing on stage as a part of the school marching band. Plus, they also take on references to Japanese folklore called "Umibozi" the giant sea monsters. So the reference to these giants in the MV adds an entire new layer of meaning cause it could mean resentment as a result of fears which turn into anxiety. That's why all this is important to understand Rock Star as an album, because it's not your "regular" Rock album. It talks about embracing your passions through seeking pleasure in the little things. - Looking forward to your next reactions. 🖖🏽

Loving your reaactions to Stray Kids. I would definitely recommend reaction to the MV for God's Menu. It the one that hooked me in. It took me a while too to figure out where I had heard something like the "Lalalala la lalalala" section. It's phonk music, the gigachad theme being the closest similarity.

I loved your reaction, Stray Kids are really exceptionally good. Just so you know K-pop is extremely popular around the world, so much so that the record for the fastest 1 billion streams on Spotify ever is currently held by a song by a K-pop idol. Seven by Jungkook (feat Latto) currently holds the record & is also about to become the first song by a K-pop act to pass 2 billion streams, a record it will reach in under 18mths. You’ve already seen Jungkook in your Boy With Luv reaction as he is the main vocalist & youngest member of BTS. You should check out Seven & a couple of other Jungkook’s tracks, 3D feat Jack Harlow & Standing Next To You 👍 Great reaction again & I look forward to seeing more of your Stray Kids, Jungkook & other K-pop reactions
