Thinking about Trader Joe's locations and the one in my town is within walking distance from my old job so I used to go there all the time via a side road BECAUSE I thought it was conveniently located. But thinking about it now, parking in that plaza or exiting the plaza is actually terribly inconvenient 😂. Also SO TRUE about "Wow I wish I could do that" being such an annoying thing people say. I'm sure Leigh gets it a lot too but as an artist I hate when people say "wow I wish I could draw like that" or "wow I could NEVER draw like you do". I know they mean well so I just smile and laugh it off but in my head I'm like "you can, you just need to put in the time and practice". There's no need to bring yourself down to compliment others 😑

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ngl i've never heard of a popup going well ever. i always hear like "i loved the food but it was an absolute mess the entire time." or "the food was ... fine ... but the whole experience was a disaster." as someone who used to help run a catering business you really do need to have at least like, two people on staff who know how to organize!! at the very least i guess it makes you appreciate when restaurants & events are really well run!!

also specifically to leigh: idk if you've ever watched Blown Away (its on netflix) its a glassblowing competition kind of like a lot of US competition TV (unfortunately not Great British Bakeoff style, though The Great Pottery Throwdown is 100% worth watching.) But Blown Away wild because the amount of really creative pieces the people make is super impressive and also there's tons of girls on it which is rad bc i always saw dudes do glassblowing stuff when i was growing up.

Pit: Me and my boyfriend (who is in Ohio) are struggling to find time together doing long distance. I tried to set up like watching something together this weekend but it just didn't work out. Its only been two weeks since we last saw each other, but I'm already worried that communication is faltering. I don't want it to feel like there's too much pressure on doing something together, but yeah I hope we can figure something out soon I think I'm gonna write him like a little pen pal love letter. Peaks: Had my first driving lesson yesterday and it went really well. New season on Barry rips! There was a Blue Heron in the creek in my backyard that I was fascinated with watching the other day. It was catching crayfish :)
