I didn't take French at Nat 5 (GCSE) level but I would like to take it as a crash Higher (A level?), and probably study it at university. Do you think this is possible, and would I get in without Nat 5 French, if I did well at Higher? (I have no idea if you will know this, but don't worry anyway lol)

Hi are you planning on applying on doing a French or joint degree with French at a Scottish university? I know that Aberdeen and Glasgow don’t require you to have studied French at school and can start it as a complete beginner For Glasgow you need a higher humanity’s subject but this doesn’t have to been in French/in a language so it can be higher history, geography and so on…. For Edinburgh I’ve seen that French joint with another language says you need higher french and Nat 5 at B grade but it says next to the nat 5 French bit in brackets (if not at higher) higher French at B grade so I think you’ll be okay for crashing higher French and I think this would be okay for single honours French I’ve also had a snoop on the Edinburgh Uni French course summary and in first year you have French 1a for beginners/Nat 5 and 1b for people who have done higher and above And it says for the 1B class it says that it allows people who have a crashed higher French but they may have to do French 1A instead if they’re not up to the level to do 1B So I think you’d be fine with a crashed higher French I hope this makes sense, I’m also planning on crashing higher French like you and maybe do a joint degree with French at uni so this is what I have found out

hey, have a question, assuming you get a 4 occupant apartment in pairs for maybe 1300euros, is it per person paying that or is the cost shared.tryna apply for the next

Hey, not entirely sure, I'd guess you're paying for the apartment, not the number of people living there? Paris is spenny though :')
