I'm currently dealing with Mattel's customer service after ordering the headbangers from mattel creations and my Thrasher arriving with his right leg snapped in the package. They will not offer me a replacement because I am from the UK. They sent me a broken action figure that costs me £50 plus £9 shipping ($73 total) and the only option they are giving me is a partial refund of £20, not even half the value of the item. Frustrating. What a suprise made in Vietnam I'd also like to point out I'm not commenting this to be all 'woe, is me'. Last week the pod guys downplayed the vietnam issues and the community let them know. This week its 'just contact customer service', I'm letting them know my experience with it.

Yea that’s a shitty thing to have happen for sure, but from my experience in dealing with Mattel over the years, and in this case and more importantly, Mattel creations, they only make a finite number of pieces and those had sold out so while there may have been some stragglers laying around a warehouse somewhere, they really may not have had access to a replacement to send you as their stock numbers said there were no units left. Just a hunch but I’m guessing it’s more than plausible that’s the case.

@@jeyDsixx18 Nope, Headbangers are still availble for order on Mattel Creations. They specifically said they will not offer replacements for overseas customers in the emails. I'm not giving up though, customer service staff are just following company orders to save/make the most money. I'm guessing I've just got to be so persistant, they pass it to a higher up who can actually deal with it.
