@@leastselfawarepotassium The thing is I feel like they're trying too hard now to make things funny. Back then, the funny bits just came so natural because of their synergy and experience. But we don't know behind the scenes, we don't know the state of the show. That thing Jae seok did to Ye eun, it EXACTLY feels like Jae Seok being impatient about creating more opportunities for Ye eun to be funny or to have more entertaining bits for her. He's so experienced with creating variety stars. Kwangsoo, Somin, Mijoo, Jessi, etc., the list could go on and on. He knows exactly what he's doing. But it just looks so forced. The members might really be feeling the pressure. IMO, they should've had another member join Ye Eun, like when Somin and Sechan joined. Not only Ye Eun is alone, she's also too young compared to the members. I can feel it everytime. Their interactions with her and her reactions too, it all feel so forced. I'm not saying they're all just acting, and the interactions are not genuine, but you can feel they're trying so hard to make it work that at the end it just looks so unnatural. Compare that to when Somin and Sechan joined. Yes, they were young too then, but the members didn't have to pressure just one person to perform. They even said that during the 600th episode. Somin adapted quicker to the show, and that gave Sechan the time to catch up. But this time Ye Eun is alone, the age gap is even bigger, and she doesnt have someone like Sechan have Somin to share the pressure. I'll compare Running man to a chair. The show isn't doing well, the departure of Kwangsoo broke a leg, and Somin's broke another one. The chair is about to fall down so the members try to hold it up as much as they can, but it's temporary. They need to replace the legs, but they only replaced one, Ye Eun, so the chair is still unstable.
