Last year my mom had breast cancer, and she was extremely lucky that she was able to get the surgeries. Today my grandma survived cancer too. Down one lung and now recovering. Today is also my 16th birthday, and this was the best present I could have ever received. Thank you so much :')

Got a tattoo down my thigh like a spiral, to my grandpa who passed 7:46pm on Apr 13, 2011. And it says "To live without love is not what we're for, we'll make it the year we find the cure" He passed. Surviving prostate cancer, and diabetes for 2 and a half years, and fought 4 months passed his initial time he was supposed to be "gone" He's the strongest man I've ever known. I love you grandpa, now your apart of me permanently, and to always help me know where my strength in life comes from. :')

Yes it is. Lights wrote this song for a toronto Charity Called "Skate4Cancer" I think a man was skateboarding across the country similar to what Terry Fox did. But I'm not 100% sure so don't hold me to it. Lol.But she definetly wrote it for the charity

@greenrocks365 Nope it didn't. But I saw it here because someone elses worked. Thanks so much. He meant a lot to me, and he really was the greatest, kindest, and the most inspiring man I know. If you live near BC, Canada, you'll know about the Barriere fire. Biggest in 50 years. He was selected out of the victims to be apart of a statue outside of the Kamloops Public Library. I visit every Sunday afternoon :').
