Loved Tavares and always will. I have most of their albums on my playlist in my IPhone so I can listen to them anywhere I go at any time. Music like this is what it is desperately needed and missed today. This music was the greatest ever recorded and made, true nice music with wonderful lyrics. Needless to say, this kind of music is what I listen to in 2024 and beyond for more years to come. You can’t find musical artists of the high caliber of these brilliant musicians today, the way Tavares and the rest of musical artists with great talent of a wonderful generation of a brilliant era. It is impossible. God bless Tavares forever and all the superstars of yesteryears; They were icons and Maestros of an era full of love, peace, and happiness. Yes we are so so blessed, I live in the city of New Bedford, where Tavares is from. I love them too. Originally I’m from Everett, Massachusetts, but moved to New Bedford 36 years ago. I’m 73 now. This Community is Portuguese and Cape Verde. Warm wonderful people. I’m American Italian decent. Grew up listening to Tavares, dancing to the music, not knowing the history. My daughter yesterday surprised me with tickets for Mother’s Day 2023, to see a live performance of Tavares, here in New Bedford at Zeiterion Theater. She said they sold out in 15 minutes. They booked a second show, it also sold out. We are blessed, people need to hear and enjoy this music, after all the Country has been through. Glad Tavares is giving us that chance. Hope it’s recorded live that day, so others can enjoy too. Best wishes♥️♥️🙏🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
