great piece. there is way too much time between your vids! like everyone is saying you are a top notch content creator - not a lot of yammering but rather really practical step by step valuable talk from beginning to end. so much of art is problem solving (that's what makes it fun!) and you always have great workarounds and solutions. and your skills sets are clearly high quality. have learned tons from your vids. more, and more often, please. please!

Creating a gelli plate sheet and cutting it out for the bricks is an amazing idea. So simple yet I didn't think of it. ?When you made the wood grain gel print did you let the paint dry before you added the white layer? Amazing pieces!

Great video Mark. Love your mixing things up. Unfortunately Carnival Wet Strength Tissue paper is not readily available in the US. I managed to order a pack of 480 sheets (via Amazon) a while back and it was shipped from the UK. It currently runs nearly $100(US) for the 480 sheets. They also sell a package of 10 sheets for $15(US) which is no bargain at all. I figure the 480 sheet pack will likely last me for the rest of my life.

The Inktense Blocks aren't pastels. They're actually compressed inks. I have a bunch of them and, although pricey, one doesn't need to use a lot of color. Unless, one wants a ton of color! I've had my original set since 2015.
