Anyway this is how to properly make a beef wellington🥩🥩 Ingredients: • 1.5 to 2 lb beef tenderloin (center-cut) • Salt and pepper, to taste • 2 tbsp olive oil • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard • 8 oz cremini or button mushrooms, finely chopped • 1 medium shallot, finely chopped • 2 cloves garlic, minced • 4 slices prosciutto • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed • 1 egg (for egg wash) • Fresh thyme (optional) Instructions: 1. Prepare the Beef Tenderloin: • Season the beef tenderloin generously with salt and pepper. • Heat a skillet with olive oil over high heat. Sear the beef on all sides until browned, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and let it cool. • Brush the seared tenderloin with Dijon mustard and set aside to rest. 2. Make the Mushroom Duxelles: • In the same pan, add finely chopped mushrooms, shallots, and garlic. Cook until all the moisture from the mushrooms evaporates, about 10-15 minutes. You want the mixture dry. • Season with salt, pepper, and thyme (optional), then let it cool. 3. Wrap with Prosciutto: • Lay out slices of prosciutto on a piece of plastic wrap, slightly overlapping. • Spread the mushroom duxelles evenly on the prosciutto. • Place the beef tenderloin on top and roll the prosciutto tightly around the beef using the plastic wrap. Twist the ends to secure and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes. 4. Wrap with Puff Pastry: • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). • On a floured surface, roll out the puff pastry to about ¼ inch thickness. • Unwrap the beef from the plastic wrap and place it in the center of the pastry. • Fold the puff pastry over the beef, sealing the edges by pressing them together. • Trim any excess pastry and brush the entire Wellington with beaten egg. 5. Bake the Beef Wellington: • Place the wrapped beef on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, seam side down. • Brush with more egg wash for a golden crust and use a knife to score the top for decoration (optional). • Bake for 25-30 minutes for medium-rare, or until the internal temperature reaches 125-130°F (52-54°C). Yeeps can also store items. You can make DIY gadgets, and they can be used for travel. So Yeeps basically wins this one with no struggle. Yeeps: 2 Gtag: 1 This is just him saying what is better. The Yeeps is also very accessible because it will have some batches. Gorilla tag sold out. So it is good to get Yeeps because it has some better features.
