because his KO meter was almost full each time he touch's the opponent weather he hits or not or he gets hit fills his meter

@ if you watch closely you'll see that he didn't hit anything yet he gained some meter

@@Almazroo3ie he hit metaknight in his shield and at the time metaknight hit him in his shield if you look closely you can see them touching each other's shield again regardless if he does damage or get's damage if contact is made with him his meter is filled

I think Little Mac doesn’t need to hit to make the meter go up. It goes up on its own regardless of input, just far more slowly. It may have gone to KO from the timer.
