I am from Munich, Germany. I visited India for the first time in September 1979. When I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the driver of that taxi was playing a Hindi song in the car and fortunately it was this song. It was my first time hearing a Hindi song, so I asked the driver about it. He explained it very well that it was about friendship and advised me to watch the movie associated with this song. He invited me to his home, and together with his family, we watched the film. He mentioned that he had seen the movie many times and never got bored of it. Throughout my journey in Mumbai, India, he accompanied me and provided great help. Soon, We became great friends, when the time came to go back to munich, he dropped me to the airport and we both promised that we will meet again someday. It has been more than 40 years, and I haven't seen him since. I don't really know where he is now or whether he is still alive. However, I pray to Lord Jesus to keep him safe and bless him wherever he may be. And we will surely meet in heaven

@@ronit5540 I wish I could, but it's not possible now. I am currently 87 and tired of traveling. My health will not permit, sadly. Throughout my life, I have visited more than 40 countries. I visited India twice, in 1979 and 2002. In 2002, I came to Delhi, and my plan was to go to Mumbai after Delhi to visit him. This time, I came along with my wife and my elder son. However, just two days before going to Mumbai, my youngest son had a severe accident, so we had to drop the plan and go back to Germany to see my son. After that incident, due to health issues, I haven't traveled to India or any country outside Europe. I still cherish the memories of watching 'Sholay' together, eating Vada pav, and traveling together. Now, all that's left are memories.

am from Munich, Germany. I visited India for the first time in September 1979. When I took a taxi from the airport to the hotel, the driver of that taxi was playing a Hindi song in the car and fortunately it was this song. It was my first time hearing a Hindi song, so I asked the driver about it. He explained it very well that it was about friendship and advised me to watch the movie associated with this song. He invited me to his home, and together with his family, we watched the film. He mentioned that he had seen the movie many times and never got bored of it. Throughout my journey in Mumbai, India, he accompanied me and provided great help. Soon, We became great friends, when the time came to go back to munich, he dropped me to the airport and we both promised that we will meet again someday. It has been more than 40 years, and I haven't seen him since. I don't really know where he is now or whether he is still alive. However, I pray to Lord Jesus to keep him safe and bless him wherever he may be. And we will surely meet in heaven
