I’m from Nigeria, based in the United States, 51 years old. India movie is my best movie. While growing up in the ’70s and ’80s, I fell in love with Indian songs by watching them and learning the music every night. However, I did not understand the language, but every time I went to school my senior, we put me in a big hall, and I will sing India for them, and they loved it. By so doing, they stated call me Indian, and they make it a business in one of the school halls, they will be collecting a dime from other students to listen to my version of Indian song 🎵 and I have two friends that use their mouth to do drum 🥁. I’m excited to see Sholay again, please can someone teach me the actual Indian song? I want to start singing it and post it out to my old friends from my high school in Nigeria and America, I think this will help me to get connected again. Above all, I dedicate this song to my two elder brothers who passed recently to meet with the Lord. One of them used to pay for us to watch Indian movies in the 80s at the movie theater 🎭

I saw this movie as a ten year old kid with my papa.We were in Lucknow when Sholay was released in 1975.We saw it in Leela theatre.As a five year old in1971 I had already seen Naya Zamana and began to recognise only one hero that was Dharmendra.In Sholay at that time I enjoyed Dharmendra beating all baddies including Gabbar and Dharmendra's dialogue in train fight sequence-Veeru se takkar.Ever since I have seen this movie ten times in cinemahalls.I get up and clap whenever I see Dharmendra saying Veeru se takkar.Dharmendra is unmatched in personality and heroism.He is the best hero Bollywood has ever produced.
