Those were the days when "Parallel Cinema", movement was active! Realistic films were made on important social issues/problems! Om, Nasir, Shabana, Faroukh Smita, Dipti, Amol were the major actors, who played important roles in shaping this movement! Arth, Ankur, Bhumika, Khandahar, Mirch Masala, Katha etc. were some of the fantastic films during this movement. Smita's untimely death was a blow to this movement, slowly other actors moved towards commercial cinema and parallel cinema died. Today majority of the films are crappy, gaudy and loud!

I saw this movie in 80’s , I think released in 1982 . But I saw in TV . Beautiful songs in this movie . There was an add come in Tv on those days with the same music but different lyrics about the wall painting . Paint was the product but music is this song’s copy 😅
