@Karen Gentry It's ok to disagree. My opinion stems from listening to yela when he dropped kickin, then Trunk Muzik...never imagined him being able to sing like this. Taught me to ignore how someone looks/ gets stereo-typed by others and make up my own opinion. Yela only raps/sings from his own experiences, never being a Gangster, but knowing them. Then he switches it up by singing like this shows us how G he really is. So next time you decide to comment, don't be a typical Karen and either yay or nay, followed by your opinion. Especially on a year old post...and even highlighting your own reply? Is that a thing? btw had no idea I got almost 200 likes. Have a nice day...just learned that highlighted comments are done by youtube unliked pinned comments, disregard what I said about it.

I’m watching this on my husbands iPad as mine is on charge. Yelawolf is THE equal to Eminem. The best. I’m from the south so this is perfect. He can do or say anything he wants to.

The only people who don't appreciate this new direction Yelawolf is taking are the fans who stuck with him through Trunk Muzik...I get it, cause I am honestly the biggest fan of his style like "Hard White". But this record just opened the door to the all time list IMO. Fusing genres of music that nobody thought possible, while telling a story with some of the most powerful messages I have ever heard. Personally, you have my unconditional support.

+Bart_S2002 Szyjka honestly i think what holds him back in the mainstream/ commercial scene to an extent is exactly what i did, and that was judge him as another white rapper. even though he has hits now, i still judged him as that "white rapper" i didnt give him my time of day as his mixtapes were coming out. now, what is the excuse? the excuse now would be that talent doesnt sell as it used to, its all about basic simplistic fill prior and after the hook, thats what sells. pop music has always been the most simplistic basic base of current music and sad to say current music is hip hop

@Ahlgreenz4 жыл бұрын
@@Cooterbangen101 According to what Yela has said, I don't think Em really had a hand in it. Yela wanted to do a few "real" songs on Love Story, but he was sure Em would not approve because Yela's a rapper. So Yela sent him this song, or a part of it, and Em loved it and told him to go for it. Because of that he went on to do songs like Devil in my Veins as well.
