Lyrics:
Happy thanksgiving- yeah this is a cancellation-
I know this is the time of the year where the family members get together ain’t it-
Greens, beans, potatoes, tomatoes- turkey better wit the dressing ain’t it?-
wonder if I put a lil’ bitta blood on the turkey would it elevate it?-
bloody bloody bloody people of color- cut em shoot em burn em leave em to suffer-
this song is not about pilgrims and Indians meeting each other and feasting for supper-
this about millions of Indians murdered and villages burning and bleeding for nothing-
this about all my decedents of Africa happy and acting like we ain’t disgusted-
Y’all be saying- that ain’t the reason we celebrate it-
this about givin the Glory to God and the time that we spend as a family ain’t it?-
That was so long ago we wasn’t even alive, gotta accept the changes-
sounding just like the white kids that be saying forget about segregation-
I can’t keep embracing the demons- how do we celebrate on the same day of a grievance-
murder and torture and slavery, they was really chopping Indian babies to pieces-
cut off the mamas heads, yeah, kicked it around to play in street with- hold, up, did I already say chopping the babies to pieces-
chop up the baby- chop the baby- chop, chop the baby- grandma lookin- that’s okay granny- watch the baby-
eat up the dead bodies- yeah yeah, and you thought the cops was crazy- I’m killing everybody, oh yeah, I’m talking nazi crazy-
more blood than the holocaust - but y’all still won’t call it off?- killed so many Indians they had to get Africans that’s how we got involved-
then they went and got God involved- that’s when they got our heart involved-
because of that reason we made this a black tradition?- tell me who ass we kissing?-
Ain’t we the same people that was marching on Washington… for racial equality-
ain’t we descendants of civil rights leaders making sure they educated us properly-
ain’t we the same people - mad at the same people, for makin a mockery-
didn’t we invent cancel culture? - so tell me why we can’t cancel culture?

It’s a shame that we have to be ashamed of the only and only holiday about being thankful and spending time with family while we are supposed to be so proud of all the materialistic ones. No thanks. I love you Yello, and Thanksgiving will always be my favorite holiday. Take it back, make it what you want.

In 1637 near present day Groton, Connecticut, over 700 men, women and children of the Pequot Tribe had gathered for their annual Green Corn Festival which is our Thanksgiving celebration. In the predawn hours the sleeping Indians were surrounded by English and Dutch mercenaries who ordered them to come outside. Those who came out were shot or clubbed to death while the terrified women and children who huddled inside the longhouse were burned alive. The next day the governor of the Massachusetts Bay Colony declared "A Day Of Thanksgiving" because 700 unarmed men, women and children had been murdered. Cheered by their "victory", the brave colonists and their Indian allies attacked village after village. Women and children over 14 were sold into slavery while the rest were murdered. Boats loaded with a many as 500 slaves regularly left the ports of New England. Bounties were paid for Indian scalps to encourage as many deaths as possible. Following an especially successful raid against the Pequot in what is now Stamford, Connecticut, the churches announced a second day of "thanksgiving" to celebrate victory over the heathen savages. During the feasting, the hacked off heads of Natives were kicked through the streets like soccer balls. Even the friendly Wampanoag did not escape the madness. Their chief was beheaded, and his head impaled on a pole in Plymouth, Massachusetts -- where it remained on display for 24 years. The killings became more and more frenzied, with days of thanksgiving feasts being held after each successful massacre. George Washington finally suggested that only one day of Thanksgiving per year be set aside instead of celebrating each and every massacre. Later Abraham Lincoln decreed Thanksgiving."

@Justin 7 the other natives didn't try to hunt others into extinction. We may have fought amongst ourselves and have taken a few slaves. In no way did we send "provisions" laced with a deadly virus to one another. Once the "white man" came was when we were pitted against each othe. In an attempt to save their own lands and people, we did unthinkable acts. In the end we still got fucked. The treaties that we signed were mere toilet paper to the "white man". The Chiefs were conned into signing land away, not knowing fully what they were signing. You can't "give away" something you don't own.

Happy Indigenous Day!!!❤❤❤💙💙💙💚💚💚 Such a beautifully strong message that has to get out!!!!!! Indigenous People need to be treated with respect and love!!! Nothing ewer stops for Indigenous People from Pipe Lines to lack of resources, to the Missing And Murdered Indigenous Woman, to Substance abuse and violence pushed on by the evil system, Residential Schools , They've tried to break and strip everything away from Indigenous People any way they can over and over again, but the system could never break the strong and beautiful resilient indigenous sprit and vision and everything of sacred knowledge and healing that the future upholds!!!! Original People will stand and take land back and demand fair treatment and equal opportunity for education and workplace and businesses and loan approval and all the other disgusting ways of mistreating and dehumanizing our Indigenous Communities!!! Much love and blessings to you YelloPain for you always putting out an important content related matter and a track that still bangs!!! How We dare we celebrate Thanksgiving!!!! How dare we make a mockery of the genocide of our Original People🤒🤧🤮🤮😤😤😤😡😡🤬🤬🤬😥😥😥 Thank you fam!❤❤❤💙💙💙💙🙌🙌🙌🙌✊✊✊✊✊

I am a Native "American". This is one of the greatest rap songs I've ever heard. Much respects for this one. While studying at my university I learned about how African slaves attempted to flee to Mexico in order to be free and some traitor natives pursued them in order to take them back to their slave holders. These kinds of natives are the same types who fought in wars against the native resistance in the white supremacist westward expansion. When I see natives celebrating Thanksgiving it reminds me of those type of traitors who would betray people of color for resisting white supremacy. Much respects for this powerful message. You are welcomed on all my tribal territory anytime which is the land of the Chumash, Salinan, Esselen, and Mexihcah. Also, the Mexihcah territory is still in dispute. Some would argue that the multi-tribal Mexican indigenous alliance/victory for independence against white supremacist Spain formed the new tribal boundary of the Mexihcah. Either way as an indigenous I got so much respect for you for this one. I am sharing this song to people I know. 🔥

Thanksgiving is about the Puritians (pilgrams) boutiful harvest in 1621, and thankfulness they had towards God and the Indians who helped them. Massasoit (Chief of the Wampanoag) and the Pilgrims were great friends, and allied with each other to help in defending against neighboring tribes who were hostile towards Wampanoag. The Native American peoples were not without sin and wickedness, just as every culture in history. This is a fallen world and to put one race above another is deception created by dark forces. We are all human and need to treat each other with love.

Maybe you don’t know this by now but us people of color aren’t the ones crying. You should know Karen refers to a white person and you pale faces are all crying because we are taking over. Who is saying you do have a problem with Chinese people. You need to learn to read and not take my statement out of context because one it makes you even foolish than you are and two you are waisting your time over your response on not contributing to the conversation. " The Chinese don't cry and bitch to play victim like t rest of you people do is my point. " They move on and now make more money than any other race in America. Stop playing victim and excuses.

Folks, I'm a native. It's ok, be thankful that you have your families, be thankful that you have food, be thankful that you have..... that you have. Many people out there don't. But as far as what happened in the past. No one here was around to be offended, no one here today did the offense. They are all dead. My point here is time to forgive all sides. How can I treat someone like a brother if he still beefing over crap that he had no part in and holding it against me if I done nothing? It's time for peace.
@YelloPain

@@kaldicuct no disrespect , but you being native doesn’t make it okay. Just like there are blacks that say forget about slavery and allow their white friends to say the N word. In my opinion, thanksgiving shouldn’t be canceled, but the message should be transformed. Instead of taking down the holiday, we should acknowledge it’s bloody past and have the annual feast represent steps we need to take to make it better.
