Our whole family has struggled with drug addiction off and on for 15-20 years , my son hated his addiction He tried to stop several times but always ended up going back over time . Between the drugs that he was battling and the way that his son's mother treated him because of the drugs. He killed himself and I miss him every single day He was my only son I have four daughters and they are beautiful but he was special in his own kind of way as all of them are and I will miss him and I think of him every single day every single day. It hurts I want him back I want to hear his voice I want him to give me a hug I want to hear him laugh and he's been gone for 5 years these feelings will never change never for me they'll never get better there is as good as there going to get. I did everything I could to try and give him an opportunity to quit and to give him advice on what he needed to do because he's my child and I loved him. He struggled a lot a whole lot and his end decision affected our whole family his sisters and me and his father were and are devastated He was such a beautiful person beautiful on the inside and out He had a heart of gold would help anyone you hated how cruel people were and he took his own life sick of all of it .the drugs ,life, the battle wore him down. So please anyone and everyone who is struggling with an addiction or thoughts of suicide because they feel like nobody cares about them, I want to tell you you're wrong there are people that love you and there's always another day and things will get better if you put effort into them, and your life is worth it your life is worth it. Life can beat you down especially when you're an addict You have to rise up and know that you are stronger and better than your addiction because you are

my little cousin (14) overdosed on pure fentanyl the day this video came out he’s been like a brother since we were little kids his mom (my aunt) who was my best friend. died from overdose two years ago. my cousin was dead until the ambulance came and revived him with two shots of narcan. i knew none of this until the day after. i was told he was in a hospital 3 hours away and me and my mom drove to see him. we got there. he was alive. i was so happy to be able to hug him and feel that he’s still here i couldn’t imagine losing him and i have nothing but condolences for the ones who we have lost from it. one of the first things he told us is that he was dead, but his mom brought him back and made sure he stayed im never gonna let that kid go. as long as i’m alive i’m keeping him the closest i possibly can. this song was perfect
