I always find myself coming back to this song. It's right in the emotional 'click' for me. It is not sad enough to make me horribly depressed. However, it is neither a happy tune. It just makes me feel existential but in a more accepting way. It recenters me that my troubles are far away while currently listening to it. However, the song doesn't bury what has happened to me or is still happening. Please never delete this video. Thank you for all of your music, it will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I remember listening to this song when it first came out, I was around 12 I used to be in such an awful place during that, my partner had just committed suicide and so many other things were just happening. Looking back at this song is a sad and happy reminder of who I used to be and how much happier I am now. idc if this is corny af I still love this song.

I still come back here after all these years, first i listened to it i didnt really "got it," but i knew this will be extremely significant later in my life. before my only friend died, before arson housefire, before my two girlfriends left me alone, before all of that and more led up to my homelesness and full on isolation and despair. I get it now, i get much more now that i ever could imagine back then. And it was just couple years It hits so different now. Devi's voice (its devi not rook right?) Is so comforting, reminding me that even when i lost everything and everyone even myself gradually dissolving in the process, from constsnt trauma and torment, i still have them, and people who listen to it and "get it" and "understand" ans thst msybe some day, i will meet such people or person, and i will no longer be alone. Maybe. I just have to wait right? Irs been so many years, i barely remember who i am anymore. Only think i remember is how people like me i knew are no longer ther anymore and people quickly forget anout them. Am i next? The uncertainty is agonising, suffocating. Plesse someone save me. I cant go on, no, i Dont want to go.on like that any longer, go back to homelessness soon, go to male prison, with the sentence(weed for mediacl purposes but illegally grown) looming over me, constantly being closer and closer behins my back, it will finally get me, i dont want to end up like that, id rather go out on my own terms. But i want to just live, is it really too much to ask for as a trans person. Im on ghe run, in the shadows, for so long now , the shadow absorbed me long gime ago, i barely resemble my former self or can remember anything, anything but pain. The pain is constant, was is and will always be, that's reality of my existence i guess, infused directly into my reality, inseparable, but when i am with someone who gets it, platonically or romantically, i am just happy, it's so simple yet so unachievable at fhe same time,it drives me insane If someone wants to reach me out i make art sometimes and schizopost on twitter: @maya44void
