Exciting that you get to setup a new space! My room is 5m x 3.8m. Although the drums do take up a fair bit of space I still have two kits setup for teaching, a desk to work at and some storage for books and hardware. If you were just practicing drums you could get away with a much smaller room. The materials worked out at a little over $15k (AUD). I figure that’s not too bad for essentially 3 rooms worth of plasterboard plus the acoustic treatments. Almost cheaper than doing a bathroom these days!! Hope that helps. If you have any questions about the process once you start hit me up and I’ll steer you in the right direction.
