This video is a great resource for anyone interested in yellow and orange sapphires. The information on treatments, pricing, and similar gemstones is incredibly helpful. I also found the demonstration of using a safety back file to be very informative. It's a valuable technique for jewelers working with intricate pieces. Thank you for sharing this overview.

Intense yellow sapphires are my absolute favorite stones. Always love it when you talk about the sapphire in general. Big support from the netherlands 💪.

I purchased a yellow sapphire but it looks orange. It's beautiful no matter what. The cut is absolutely amazing.

After teal, a bright yellow sapphire is my favorite. When I first started collecting, I got a 6.49 carat canary yellow sapphire. It is Be treated but is so beautiful. Since then I have got quite a few yellow sapphires. The Be ones are so much more saturated and vibrant.

Yes the BE sapphires really do pop! I think people probably go for the light yellows when they want to mimic diamonds

Hi, Dominique. Appreciate your channel. Could you do videos on topaz, citrine, amethyst, and aquamarine? Also, I’d love to see some samples of Santa Marias (even Afriques). Thanks! =)
@DominiqueFlux4 ай бұрын
Yes definitely we can make videos on those stones, we do have aquamarine video, it's under the Beryl family and so it's in that video

Great info! Yellow sapphires are so sparkly. So does Cognac Sapphire falls within the Yellow and orange category? Are Cognac color sapphires also beryllium treated? Thank you!
@DominiqueFlux2 ай бұрын
Yes they would fall in the yellow category. Most of the ones I've seen are beryllium treated

Thanks for sharing great content! A wonderful learning experience. I am looking for a second opinion on a sapphire in my custody and was wondering if we can connect. I am based out of Calgary. Thanks once again!

Glad you liked it :) I would recommend bringing it to a local appraiser

@@DominiqueFlux My apologies for the late response. I have a certificate of authentication from a local gemologist here in Calgary. It might be featured in Christie’s auction at some point but at this time looking for local buyers out of the auction industry. It’s a certified almost 27 carats Orangish-red sapphire! Red is extremely dominant but it’s certified is a sapphire and not a ruby. Thanks for all the great content you and your team is putting out.
