I've been living alone in my first apartment since October. I love it, but I get lonely a lot. The pandemic is still happening so I can't always have friends over, I haven't been able to see my partner in over a year due the UK boarder being indefinitely closed and any time I go out I have to chose between wearing an uncomfortable mask or crossing the street every time I see another human. I found myself humming this song to myself last night and I almost cried.
