Yellow jackets wake up everyday thinking of what they can sting and already mad about it. In my opinion they are the flying fire ant.😂😂. Looking forward to seeing more from this location. Thank you for sharing.

Here in far north California on our mountain we have meat bees. They dwell in a hole in the ground and fly around us when we eat out on the deck, but do not disturb us until you step on their nest.

For what it’s worth, I have mud dauber, paper wasp, and something I don’t recognize except as some other kind of wasp or hornet (whatever it is, it’s a stinging member of the kind) right outside and above my door. I learned decades ago to move SLOWLY around them and, especially, NEVER to flail at them because they will react to the fast movement worse than an infuriated fighting bull to a waving red flag. They and I have been and let be all season, but come freezing weather the nests are coming down.

My 1st hubby this summer had hornets nest up right next to his front door, inside the dinner bell! I tried smoking them out, it didn't work. They kept getting more aggressive, as the nest grew. I finally got tired of it, took a baseball bat, & PING knocked that entire brass bell, nest, wasps & all right off the hook! 😂 I ran in the house, & they were REALLY ticked off 😅 but eventually moved out & I put the bell back up. Homerun! Haha

Yes Danny you can let a window down enough to set your camera up. I have ground blinds also and have done just that . Last year I got the see through blind . Haven’t set mine up yet because here in NC the Mosquitoes are large enough that two can take you away .lol we do have a Very Serious problem with all the rain we been getting since July. You will love you new blind

Good morning Mr Danny and Ms Wanda. Thank y'all for sharing. Looks like a beautiful area to go sir and watch the wildlife minus the yellowjackets LOL. Hate those buggers especially since I'm allergic. Y'all have a blessed day.

I totally agree about yellow jackets! They got my husband this past weekend. He was helping a family that is not able to do there yards and there was a big hole where a tree trunk up rooted several years ago. Glad I was in the truck lol. Thank you for your content Danny and thank you Wanda !

Fifteen yrs or so back, we had huge Yellowjacket problems. EPI pens flying off the shelves. In ground & other type nests. Cd barely have a picnic outside. All the mosquito spraying at that time seemed to make it worse. A few anaphylactic deaths made the CLE news. They'd gladly sting you at night.

Yellow jackets are plentiful. I hadn’t seen any in many moons until a couple of days ago when working in my yard…in short, I was hit on the nose and back of arm…decided to check all hedges and there was another nest along with a red wasp nest… I had to bring the guns out even though I had to run, also.

I remember standing in a line to see a nature exhibit with my best friend and telling her about what I had shot. The attendant in earshot was getting visibly and increasingly agitated until we were passing him and I told my friend, “Yeah, I blew a lot of shots, but I got a few great pictures.” He visibly deflated in chagrin, because I had been talking about a camera safari. True story.

I was cutting grass, stopped to pick up sticks, and saw a hole. Yellow jackets in the ground! Came back at night, pour quart of gasoline in both holes (they usually have 2) and ran!! No yellow jackets next day. Think i caught it in time.

It’s GOOD to see Danny able to use his right hand and arm again. I know that it takes time to recover from a procedure that involves putting a catheter up an artery.

Got stung by a what I call a ground bee, this morning. Hurts like hell-fire. I applied a plantain mash and it helped some. The whole top of my foot got red. I moved a board at the bottom of my small coop that is not used anymore. WHAM. I ran! It still hurts hours later. Watch out for those dang things, they are NASTY.

I was attacked badly by yellow jackets twice this summer when I unknowingly went over their nests with the push mower. I normally live and let live, but since I have a young grandson who visits frequently, I had to "eradicate" the nest. Simply went out after sundown after they are all back in the nest and placed an old rag soaked with gasoline over the entrance to the nest. Gone the next day with no lingering residents. Easy-peasy!

Southern yellow jackets (I'm in Texas) are very aggressive...had 2 chase me into my house and sting repeatedly....these yellow jackets in particular, do not lose their stinger when they sting. Had a pest control company remove the nest from the ground. I do not like those wasps...there are other pollinators that I appreciate more. Can't have these aggressive buggers around myself/family, or my little Chiweenies (chihuahua + dachshund). ❤🤠❤

Maybe the undesired varmints have found the corn first, but I know that, on his property, Danny will deal with them. The deer, turkeys, and quail will find the feeder eventually.

Putting down a ground cover with a rug on top of it will not only minimize the sounds of movement in the tent, but also insulate it from the cold and wet. Since your ground is dry, I’m going to start asking Him to provide y’all with abundant showers of blessings - without any storm damage.
