Michio Kaku said at least 5yr ago that he would get concerned if the seismic activity was regularly at 2.5-3M. It's been there fairly consistently for a couple of years. Let's just say that I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in the next 50 years. I also wouldn't be surprised if a Juan de Fuca event triggered it. And good day to Mr. Poland. Stay safe. If Yellowstone goes it will make Pompeii look like a camp fire. Pompeii put up 5 cubic km of debris. The last time Yellowstone went it put up around 2000 cubic km. This is several whole orders of magnitude larger. It would put the earth in a constant winter for years if not decades. Our entire world food supply would collapse. Billions would die.
