Loved that Kayce was the one who came up with the idea to return the land to the Native Americans. HATED Jamie's ending and if they thought it was somehow fitting that Beth took her revenge on him, it wasn't. Disappointing ending to what was a great show.

Totally get where you're coming from! Kayce's decision felt powerful and true to his character, but Jamie's ending definitely left a lot of us frustrated. It felt like it could've gone in a much better direction. Still, hard to say goodbye to such a great show!

Couldn't Casey and Beth have bought and sold the ranch land to each other? How about Rip buying the land for a dollar. The taxes would have been so low they could have saved the ranch instead of selling it to the indians. TS could have worked out a much better ending. We fans deserved better.

I hate the destruction of that beautiful house! The indians have no sense. It could have been used to their economic benefit. Just wanted to stick it to whitey. I really am disappointed in the ending. The previous episodes were really good.

After watching the ending of this once great series I have some questions. Lloyd worked there for 43 years and had the Y brand on his body and yet he had to live in the bunkhouse that whole time? And did he or any of the others get any severance pay or a cut from that 30 million after the auction? I know they got paid but do Cowboys in real life live in a bunkhouse like kids at camp their whole career? Also, how were they not able to raise a herd large enough to pay for all those salaries, property tax, feed, etc etc? It sucks that Costner and Sheridan had to have drama and ruin the dang thing. Non of the spinoffs or "origin" stories are any good.

This show is not that great, question anyone's judgement that says it is. Is it entertaining and a fun watch at times? Sure. But if you want a story, one that make sense, has believable characters and storylines. This ain't it LOL. OMG there were so many storylines that were forgotten or just ignored it became a joke. It is not hard to see why Costner did not want to finish this series. The second part of season 5 is mostly filler and useless flashbacks.

No it was stupid, because the entire series Beth has been touted as some business mogul and she never did shit. And she was definitely about the money, She drove s $300K car. So not believable she wouldn't have wanted something in return, not pennies. You actually believe someone would sell $1bill property for $1mill, TV Show or not? If you do you are naïve. Government wouldn't allowed they would want their hundreds of millions in taxes.
